do you guys happen to remember april fool's day 2011 when there was a fake teaser trailer for the "new" show the aurors? you can see the trailer in that old blogpost that's linked in the previous sentence because i don't feel like going to get the embed code from youtube. but anyway, a little over a year later, and some harry potter fans have decided to make it a reality with a webseries about aurors in new york:

on a completely unrelated note, the other day i learned that some people pour milk into a bowl before pouring the cereal. now, granted, i don't always eat my cereal with milk, but when i do, the cereal always goes in first. always. i would like to meet these backwards people and find out why exactly they do this because it makes no sense to me.

ReplyDeleteright? i have to have an exact ratio of milk to cereal, just enough but not too much. the only way i can do that is if the cereal goes in first. plus, i just... i dunno. i don't even think i could try it for experiment's sake.
Deletei do that cereal thing with ice cream. i put all the 'toppings' in and then add a little ice cream as a topping.

while i've never done that with ice cream, my mind is imagining a bowl full of m&ms with ice cream on top, and you know, i think i'm okay with that. maybe because i do the brownie or cookie sundae thing so my brain thinks ice cream going last is okay? though i think nuts should always go on last.
Deletei was thinking the exact same thing about the looks and then feeling like a shallow person that was nitpicking and being obnoxious. but they don;t really fit with what aurors are in my head.
yuck to milk first cereal second. although i've done it before by accident (i was pregnant). not good...you end up with way too much cereal to compensate for the amount of milk you pour.
ReplyDeletei was sooo excited when i saw this...and then i watched the teaser...not excited anymore. i agree with the comment about the looks. i'm sorry but a show like this looks are important. *sigh* they've ruined it for me. :(
