it makes you sad on the stage

this made me so sad. like that lump-in-throat-nostalgia i felt at the end of senior year, and whenever i read the story, and when i think about the summer.

also, i have always wanted to know what happened to the dursleys. did harry just never see them again? did he not go check on them to make sure that they were still alive after the war? dudley had had a change of heart about harry near the end, does that go completely ignored forever? do harry's awkwardly named children never meet dudley's kids? this is stuff i need to know.

  1. A lot of things happened between the last battle and Harry and Ginny producing an Albus Severus. A.k.a. ten years happened, at the beginning of which Harry left a buncha people hanging. A.k.a. more book opportunities for J.K. Rowling.

  3. The Flea... though i love the harry potter series with all my heart, i don't think she could really do any more harry-centric books. if she wanted to do a marauder era one then i'm totally on board for that. but harry's story is done. i just want her to like write a paragraph to say and harry and dudley went out to get coffee or something.

mahoney... aww *tear*. i don't know why they would cut that.

  4. sarah, i think i read somewhere that harry never sees the dursleys again.

it's the same place i read that neville marries susan bones, and goes on to be the professor of herbology/the new owner of the three broomsticks.

i'm going to try to find it.

  8. wow i can't believe i never read that. i mean i knew the dumbledore being gay, neville teaching, and possibly that he married hannah abbott, but not the neville living over a pub or the dursley stuff. i guess christmas card and occasional awkward visit is okay. i mean, at least he didn't just leave them for dead, and i never really expected them to become best friends.
