all right, that's it, i've had enough

the incredible shrinking woman. by far the worst movie i have seen in a really really long time. which of course means it was hilarious to watch. me and my sister were still laughing over it's stupidity way after the last credit floated up our screen. it was made in the 80s so of course we were expecting it to have laughable effects and stuff, but this movie went so far beyond that. the little blurb said it was about a lady who started to shrink and shrink and shrink after being exposed to some chemicals in her makeup. immediately drew us in of course. but the lady had the most obnoxious voice, everyone had the most hilarious facial expressions, their reactions were so over the top dramatic, and the plot was made up of one bad joke or pun after another. mothers living in dollhouses, sign languaging apes, a company trying to shrink the entire world cuz they were already "as big as they could get," an entire police force stymied by a barrel of banana peels... this movie had it all and more. we were really hoping that by the end it would all be done, but then, the last second of the movie just threw in another horrible plot twist, leaving it open for a sequel. i dunno if they ever made a sequel or not, but i kinda hope they didnt. they've already used up their alotted amount of pure stupidity.
