spelled out on a double word and triple letter score

i think scrabble is one of the most amazing games in the world, and not just because i'm pretty awesome at it. it's a perfect combination of learning, fun, strategy, and luck. it's kind of a family game for us, too. it holds a lot of memories. my parents spent like the first decade of their marriage playing scrabble every single night, so when we got to play it when we were younger it was like an awesome grown up thing. i remember i used to love doing the word cab. i dunno why. even coming close to my mom's score was an amazing feat, and when we started beating her we were ecstatic. i remember the first time i used all seven letters - the word was spewing. and now, whenever my grandma comes down to visit we pull out the scrabble board - not the one my parents played on, that's in saudi arabia. it's become the only time we play besides the summer hours in my saudi grandma's house with turkish soap operas playing in the background. we even have two copies of the official scrabble dictionary. because it's so much cooler than normal dictionaries of course. and by the way, scrabble online and scrabble in real life are totally different experiences. online is way easier. don't ask me why because i cant explain it. it just is. probably for the same reason it's easier to write an essay online than on paper. all i know is that when i play online ive gotten scores close to 600 points. getting over 400 is no longer special, which is definitely not the case with playing in real life.
