and in one little moment it all implodes

[day eight: your sky]

i'm not sure how it happened, or when exactly, but sometime between the time that i closed my eyes to sleep and opened them hours later, the world was turned upside down. i looked up and saw the ground. i didn't bother looking down... i didn't think i could handle the vertigo that soon after waking up. my head was throbbing as it was. the rain must have turned to snow during the night, because the expanse of white went on forever. there were darker patches, patches that looked raised from the rest. those must be the people who had held on during the switch, covered in snow, probably frozen to death by now. right at the edge, where ground and sky still held each other in their eternal loving embrace, the sun was bathing the white in a soft gold, making it glow. it was beautiful.

on another note, this is a cool cover:

  1. that makes me SO uncomfortable that they're all on the same guitar. they're like a multi-limbed monster.

  2. i had originally thought it was cool that they all played one instrument, but after i read your comment and looked at the still-image of the video, all i could see was a bunch of arms coming out of the guitar. it kinda creeped me out.

the post s really nice but i couldn't enjoy it because i read your sky and the entire time was trying to relate the post to your sky and i just couldn't. mostly because i am EXHAUSTED! we left the house at around 8:30 and didn't get home until 9 pm. :| first we had breakfast at ocb..then went to the chocolate festival which was not nice because it was crowded in a tiny building. then went to the fire station near mason for face painting. then drove to baltimore for the aquarium. stopped at potbelly's near the harbor. ate went into the aquarium. walked around aquarium for 2 hours. watched the 30 minute dolphin show. had dinner at uno's and then drove home. :| did i mention im exhausted? also all i could think of today...eating all three meals outside was okay we're are making up for sarah and zeyad not eating out. loool

  4. how could you not relate the post to my sky? my sky was overcast, but mostly white instead of grey. there were still a few clouds more defined than the general layer of cloudiness. it was early, so you could see the glow of the sun at the horizon.

oh yeah i forgot about the chocolate festival. i wanted to go, and i don't have time today. when did the boys take their nap? and why did you shove everything possible into one day? and lool about the meals.
