telling my whole life with his words

i found this online and thought it was cool. you're basically choosing which authors you would want to write out different aspects of your life.

who would you want to write...

your childhood?
beverly cleary... i was a huge fan of hers in first/second/third grade. her characters had such normal lives, but they just never seemed boring.

your parents?
john irving... he may have been kinda screwed up, but garp was a devoted dad and knew that "kids are just perfect people until grown ups get their hands on them."

your best friend?
se hinton if i could make sure it was the outsiders style... the rest all seem to grow apart as they grow up.

your siblings?
can i use se hinton again? sodapop was cool. or cs lewis as long as none of them turned out like susan.

your education?
jk rowling... hogwarts for sure.

your first kiss?
walt disney... i dont care if he doesnt really count as an author.

your husband?
tough one. but probly margaret mitchell or razan... i'd be good with a rhett or a sirius. or nicholas sparks could work too i guess.

your wedding dress?
suzanne collins (the hunger games)... she's one of the few authors that write "pretty dresses" that actually look pretty in my head without me having to change them.

your enemy?
hmm maybe phillip pullman (the golden compass)... at least then they'll be interesting if nothing else. and i dont think i'd like a stupid enemy.

your job?
fitzgerald... his characters are all lazy bums with money. they can work when they want to but never really have to, and even when they do they don't. i could see myself living that life.

your home?
either jane austen - i always liked that era, and the huge manors were awesome - or jk rowling - i like her descriptions. or whoever wrote the moorchild, i read that in 6th grade and still have not gotten over the desire to visit the irish moors instilled in me from that book's descriptions.

your death?
ah i have no idea. i think a lot of writers can write death really well. maybe oscar wilde though cuz i was just obsessing over that death quote of his.

the greatest/most exciting moment of your life?
orson scott card... he comes up with some of the coolest things ever.

the worst moment of your life?
stephenie meyer... because i know everything'll end up okay at the end.

*Killing Me Softly - Roberta Flack

  1. wow. im honored by the mention.

AND LOOOOOL ABOUT YOUR WORST MOMENT. hahaha, i can totally see you with a stephanie meyer ending,

you know, i read almostt all of the golden compass series, but the last one i had like a couple chapters to finish and i just couldn't. not because it was bad, i just couldn't get past the scientist with the rolling animals chapters. ever since freshman year, even though i generally liked the books a lot. i dunno why...

  2. i didnt really like those chapters. not when i read the series 6th grade and not when i reread it a few years ago. he could have cut them down a lot and written more about lyra.
