i won't put my hands up and surrender

so umm heres another drabble i wrote awhile ago... i just remembered it.

I don't find there to be much room in my life for sympathy. Weakness tends to annoy me. I loathe self-pity. Feeling sorry for yourself is unforgivable.
That is not to say I turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the struggles of others. I am not heartless. Everyone is fighting their own personal battle every single day. The ones who deserve sympathy, but don't ask for it. The ones who keep fighting long after everyone would understand if they just gave up. The ones who refuse to just lay down and admit defeat. It's those I admire.

i noticed that i love writing sentence fragments. i dont intentionally write them, but lately, my writing has been littered with them. maybe because we were always told not to write them in school. maybe because most of the books i've been reading lately employ the fragmented writing style. maybe because i got used to drabbles, and when you're limited to 100 words, every word has to mean something. whatever the reason, sentence fragments are awesome.

that was ALWAYS my problem through out school and college. fragment sentences...and every time i'd see that annoying squiggly line in microsoft word i'd cringe because it would take me forever to fix it. i'd try to fix it and end up with an even longer fragment sentence. its sooo frustrating. i still have trouble with fragments..

  6. every sentence must have a subject and a predicate. if it's missing one, it's a fragment.
